Three Bears Lodge at Jellystone Park

Nothing evokes the rustic qualities of Jellystone Park more than the natural beauty of wood. But how does a family recreation destination balance those rustic qualities with the project requirements for strength, safety and visual consistency? The designers incorporated Glulam throughout the project, and contracted Western Archrib to design and supply all the Glulam, galvanized connections and wood decking.

• Used extensively throughout the development – waterpark, hotel rooms, lobby and over 40 log cabins
• Main Glulam trusses span 72' in length and 11.5' in height
• Cost of Glulam over waterpark was between $17 and $18 per square foot.
